Why use this template?

The allocation and placement of each piece of goods on board the ship are shown on the shipping plan. The plan is often created using the “deck officers’” notebooks, with a reasonable duplicate being created prior to leaving the last port of loading. This makes it possible to make copies of the plan before the ship sets sail. To enable the booking and reservation of labor, when necessary, the copies are sent to representatives at ports of discharge.

Planning ahead is essential for successful shipping security, both at the shore terminal and offshore. Pre-planning aims to safely and practically confine goods carried on the deck of offshore support vessels so that people, the ship, and the shipping may be properly safeguarded at all phases of conveyance, as well as during offshore shipping operations.

What does this template provide?

In this template, we have set some variables you might want to use. On the right part of this template, we create several custom fields like “Quantity,” “Weight,” “Location.” As our important users, you can add more custom fields if you want. Besides that, we set transportation into 3 types: land, sea, air. You can make more specific changes such as specific flight NO. or ship NO. for better use.
